There are only a handful of people who study one subject and then make a career in another and become successful at it. Today, we will talk about one such person who has made it big in life but his educational background was completely different. 

We are talking about the actor, Amol Parashar. Amol Parashar gained popularity from his role in the TVF web series, Trippling where he played the flamboyant and carefree youngest sibling of three. The web series in general became popular for its out-of-the-box storyline and acting of commendable artists like Amol Parashar himself as Chitwan, Sumit Vyas as Chandan and Manvi Gagroo as Chanchal. 

Parashar stood out as the eccentric Chitvan who lived in the moment. Many of you will be amazed to know that Amol Parashar is actually an IIT graduate engineer. 

Amol hails from Delhi and was an academic in school and followed the common trend to prepare for JEE and secure a seat at the prestigious IIT Delhi to pursue graduation in Mechanical engineering. 

He was always attracted to acting and as a result, started actively participating in college plays during his graduation. Soon, he realised that acting was something that he wanted to make a career at.

Parashar debuted in Ranbir Kapoor led 2009 film, Rocket Singh followed by many short films such as 'Famous' (2012), "A Night with the Suspects' (2012), 'The Mirror' (2012), 'Square 1' (2012). He appeared in the OTT-released film 'Dolly Kitty Aur Who Chamakte Sitare' opposite Konkona Sen, which also features phenomenal actors like Bhumi Pednekar, Vikrant Massey, Kubbra Seth, and Karan Kundrra. In 2021, he appeared in Vicky Kaushal's film Sardar Udham.
