Vishal, whose real name is Vishal Krishna Reddy, has his latest film Mark Antony releasing in theatres this Friday. The science fiction action comedy film also stars SJ Suryah and is directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Mark Antony's trailer has highly impressed the audiences and the film is expected to take a good start at the box office.

The Laththi actor is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film and in his recent interview, he revealed that he was offered a role in the much awaited actioner Leo, which is headlined and helmed by Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj, respectively. Vishal stated that he couldn't take up the film due to his busy commitments.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, he stated, "I was offered a chance to act opposite Vijay in Leo, but I couldn't. I don’t dabble between two films at the same time, I do one film at a time. So I was like, totally engrossed in Mark Antony and then my subsequent commitment. So I told the director I can’t give five days, and then go back. I have to give my full, I have to surrender to you completely."

Vishal also shared that he wants to direct the Master actor in his own film. "It's in my bucket list. I would love to", he stated and added that he even contacted Vijay's manager during the Covid-19 period to narrate a script to him, but the Enemy actor himself wasn't ready with the script so he decided to wait a little before approaching him next.

After Mark Antony, the Chakra actor is all set to make his directorial debut with Thupparivaalan 2, the sequel to the 2017 action-thriller film which had received good reviews and earned well too. Thupparivaalan and its titular protagonist Kaniyan Poongundran, played by Vishal, were based on Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes.
