There are many superstars who haven't given a hit in last two or three years and still, their stardom doesn't cease to exit. One such actress, who became a star with her debut film, has had no hits for last three years.

The actress we are talking about started working at the age of 13 in movies and became a sensation with her debut film. Even though she has had no hits for the last three years, she is one of the highest-paid actresses in the industry. She is none other than Sai Pallavi.

Sai Pallavi made her debut at the age of 13 in the Tamil film Kasthuri Maan and also worked in Dhaam Dhoom as a child artiste. She then studied medicine, however, she later chose to become an actress and made her blockbuster debut in the Malayalam film Premam in 2015. With this film, the actress became a star in South cinema. She then went on to deliver several hits with superstars like Dhanush in Maari 2, Nani in Middle-Class Abbayi, Shyam Singha Roy, and Fahad Faasil in Athiran among others.

The actress revealed in an interview, that she didn't do makeup for her debut film and continues to not wear makeup for her films. Talking about the same, the actress said in an interview, "After Premam, a few directors suggested that I should wear light makeup. After I tried putting on some makeup, they said that my acting is more evident in my normal appearance. My cheeks turn red when I am angry or shy. They said that they like that. I normally use eyeliner in my films. I do that because it makes my eyes bigger. My eyes tend to become small with all the lights. But I didn't do that for this film. I just washed my face and showed up. This is the most liberating, I felt. I am just the way I look at my home. But langavani in an extra addition. But other than that I felt so liberated while I was doing this film."

Sai Pallavi's Kanam co-star Naga Shourya called the actress 'unprofessional' and also opened up in an interview of having tantrums on set. He said, "Fidaa was a huge hit, but the credit for it was not entirely hers. Her behaviour disappointed me." However, the lady superstar now charges Rs 2 crore per film making her one of the highest-paid actresses in South cinema.

She is now all set to make her grand Bollywood debut alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. The actress is set to play the role of Sita in the movie. Ranbir and Sai's first look photos from the sets went viral on social media and fans couldn't stop hailing the actress' look as Sita. She also has the Tamil film Amaran in the pipeline which also stars Sivakarthikeyan and is scheduled to release later this year.
