Several media reports in the past year suggested that noted playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan was facing a tough time in her marriage. Rumours caught more fire when her husband Hitesh Sonik dismissed any such reports in his interview with Bombay Times, but, Sunidhi stuck only to 'no comments'. The talks about trouble in Sunidhi's paradise continued thereafter. It all began after her husband Hitesh and she returned from a trip to Goa.  It wasn't surprising that the rumours of trouble in her marriage hadn't died down because Sunidhi hadn't said anything on such reports nor did she make clear her marital status.

Now, in an interview with ETimes, Sunidhi was quoted telling the publication, "All good now. Hitesh and I are living together".

In fact, a source close to the couple told the publication "that there was an upheaval in their marital life and it is only recently that the two patched up."

For the unversed, this is Sunidhi's second marriage to Hitesh. She had earlier tied the knot with choreographer Bobby Khan when she was just 18 and the two parted ways after a year.

Hitesh and Sunidhi, who married in 2012, welcomed their first child, son Tegh, on January 1, 2018.

Born in Delhi, Sunidhi began performing at local gatherings at the early age of four and made her career debut at the age of 12 with the film Shastra (1996).

She has several chartbusters to her credit such as "Dhoom Machale" – Dhoom (2004), "Bhumro" – Mission Kashmir (2000), "Maskhari";- Dil Bechara (2020) among many others.
