Sussanne to start interior decoration store

Actor Hrithik Roshan’s wife Sussanne will be plunging headlong into the interior decoration industry with her signature interiors store in Bandra. Interestingly, her biggest competitor in the industry is likely to be one of her closest friends, actor Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna, who also owns a similar store in the same locality and services the same league of clients.
Sussanne has a professional degree in interior decoration.

However, she has been a freelance designer till now, having designed the interiors of Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat and the homes of Rani Mukerji and Priyanka Chopra.

“Today is a beautiful day 4 me.just finalized the name of my new store!target opening october..tooo much nervous energy n a big bright smile!” said Sussanne on Twitter.

Her first training with interior decoration started with her mother Zarine Khan’s interiors firm. Then she launched her own label. But she largely remained a freelancer while Twinkle turned professional with her store in a Mumbai suburb.

According to sources close to Sussanne, Shah Rukh will be launching the store. “Sussanne had partied at Mannat with Hrithik, Barbara and her brother Kintaro a few days ago. Gauri and Shah Rukh were there too. That’s when they discussed plans of the interiors store. Shah Rukh volunteered to open the store for her. Gauri is also very happy for Sussanne and she will also be present at the launch,” says a source.

But Sussanne is still not ready to reveal the name of the store. “Will tell u'll the name just when I am  ready..thnks for d love n wishes,” she added on Twitter.
