The imposter says though he is a Marathi and supports Shiv Sena, he’s against ‘any sort of action that breaches our democratic rights’.

The imposter has also written that he is back from a private screening of the Karan Johar movie — an event that was only open to a handful of industry dignitaries. The person has also given a thumbs up to his mentor Ram Gopal Verma’s Rann and is also condemning the Pune blasts. But what sources say is damaging to Madhur is that he had maintained his silence on the Shiv Sena-SRK face off and the imposter tweeting his support for Khan only means that he could draw the ire of the Sena.

Madhur, whose real Twitter ID is mbhandarkar268, is taking up the case with the Mumbai police. “I’m meeting the Cyber Crime Branch of the Mumbai police and a complaint is on its way. I can’t let someone impersonate me and post comments that are being picked up by TV and newspapers. During the My Name is Khan issue, the impersonator’s comments were played by TV channels. God knows now what that person will post. I could be in more trouble,” says Madhur.
