PUBG Mobile 2.0 launch: Console gaming experience, alpha testing, android-ios version - latest updates on PUBG New State

Battlegrounds Mobile India developer Krafton's second game PUBG New State is also becoming quite popular among fans of PUBG Mobile. The pre-registration of the PUBG New State was made available after its trailer release and last week the developer released its alpha testing in the US. Now it has announced PUBG New State is going to close its alpha testing in a week. 

Alpha testing of PUBG New State was launched on June 11. The process is now being closed within a week. This could bring some clarity about the launch date of the game. PUBG New State or PUBG 2.0 is set in 2051. 

Alpha testing was made available only in the US and only to Android smartphone users. Krafton said it will release its testing in another region soon. This will also take feedback from users from other regions. 

iOS app support will be reported in the near future. The developer has also announced that pre-registration of PUBG New State has crossed 17 million. Players can pre-register it now. Pre-register users will get early access to it. 
 
PUBG New State pre-registration started in February 2021. It has so far been pre-registered by more than 17 million people on the Google Play Store. 

The company has also tweeted the map Troi of the 8x8. It has multiple locations such as police stations, Tram Factory, city halls, Exhibition Hall, malls. The company is believed to be able to tell you more maps in the near future. 

Meanwhile PUBG Mobile's Indian avatar Battlegrounds Mobile India has attracted millions of PUBG Mobile Indian lovers in India. It is to be noted that Battlegrounds Mobile India is still in the testing phase and had already registered over 5 million downloads in less than 48 hours. 

PUBG New State, aka PUBG 2.0, is set in the year 2051. Like PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile New State will come with new weapons and ammunition. It will also include drones, combat rolls, etc. The PUBG New State map will be 8x8 large. Players can walk/ run or use vehicles to explore the map.

Meanwhile, Battlegrounds Mobile India developer Krafton has introduced several changes in gameplay as well as back-end operations of the much-hyped title in order to escape any tough action by the Indian government.

Before the Indian government decided to ban PUBG Mobile India in September 2020, several parents used to complain that PUBG Mobile India was affecting their children because it portrayed a lot of violence. While the new game has retained PUBG Mobile India, Battlegrounds Mobile India has made significant changes to terminology and visuals as well, including the colour when a player is hit. 

It may be recalled in PUBG Mobile India, the default colour was red which looked like blood splatter. But in Battlegrounds Mobile India, Krafton has used green colour in place of red and it also shows feathers instead of splatter-like animation. The new version also has changed the term “kills" to “finishes" in order to tell the number of players defeated by a player.
