Audiences were not even over the high of Spider-Man: Into the SpiderVerse, when Sony Pictures decided to drop band new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home on Tuesday. Tom Holland unveiled a minute long footage of the same on his Instagram account. The live was joined by the main villain of the second instalment of this revived franchise, Jake Gyllenhaal.

There are two different versions of the trailer. While international trailer featured almost everything the US trailer did, the original trailer had more to offer.

Take a look -

New trailer gave a glimpse at Nick Fury, played by Samuel L Jackson, who is alive and still taking down bad guys after the events of  Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The footage also evokes the curiosity about Aunt May's adventures as well as Peter Parker's relationship status when it comes to being on a different continent with Michelle Jones, played by Zendaya.

Let's break it all down.

1. Back on Earth

Back on Earth
1/18

The first shot gives a lot of relief to know that Thanos' destruction was reversed. Here we see Peter Parker and Aunt May raise money for homeless people using the Spidey clout. It's a nice hat tip to the latest Spider-Man game storyline.

2. Celebrations!

Celebrations!
2/18

It may have been very difficult for Aunt May to overcome the ordeal she went through after Peter falls prey to Thanos' snap. But all seems to be history after taking a look at this high five celebration.

Did we ever get an answer to if Aunt May was killed at the end of Avengers: Infinity War?

3. Love is in the New York air

Love is in the New York air
3/18

Here we see Happy trying his best to impress Aunt May and replace the memory of Uncle Ben with a little flirting and a big fat cheque for a charitable cause. Happy's solo outing is not a very comfortable thought right now.

4. Packing for the trip

Packing for the trip
4/18

After exhausting himself, (millennial burn out?), Peter is not interested in taking the suit with him. Everyone deserves downtime, especially Peter after getting caught between the huge egos of Tony Stark and Doctor Strange and almost dying during the snap incident.

5. Uncle Ben

Uncle Ben's first and only appearance in the new storyline.

6. Far From Home

Far From Home
6/18

Putting speculations to rest, director Jon Watts makes it clear with this shot that for Peter, Far From Home, will always be the other side of the Atlantic. Outer Space is just touching base.

7. With Bae and Bestie

With Bae and Bestie
7/18

Say hello to Michelle Jones (MJ) and Ned who are Peter's Bae and Bestie respectively. These two shall play important catalysts in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

8. Peter Parker's Passport

8/18

Here's all you need to know about Peter Parker's official record. Just don't go looking for his age.

9. Aunt May to the rescue

What would Peter do if May hadn't been around?

10. Lookie here

Lookie here
10/18

Whatever happened to the spidey sense? Someone in the room shoots a dart at Ned and the thud of his fall is alarming Peter? This is unacceptable!

11. Hello old friend

Hello old friend
11/18

Nick Fury makes his grand entrance. Going by Peter's reaction, you have my permission to assume that Russo brothers didn't think it was necessary for Nick Fury and Peter Parker to ever cross paths in Avengers: Endgame.

12. Mission: Italian Job?

Mission: Italian Job?
12/18

What could wrong during an Italian vacation? Not much. Only you will be recruited to investigate and stop the mysterious behaviour of the elements.

13. London Bridge's Fallen Down

London Bridge's Fallen Down
13/18

Looks like whatever is wreaking havoc in Venice, Italy is on European visa (before the Brexit thing makes it difficult) and following Spidey to tourist locations.

14. The Elementals

The Elementals
14/18

The rubble Maria Hill and Nick Fury are shooting at is Magnum. It is a part of The Elementals. These entities have an unclear origin story in the comic universe. According to the comic books, these entities originated before 3500 B.C. They are believed to be virtually immortal.

15. The other Elementals

The other Elementals
15/18

Meet Zephyr (The Elemental of Air), Hellfire (The Elemental of Flame), and Hydron (The Elemental of Water).

16. Another 'stume?

Another 'stume?
16/18

We know Aunt May packed the original suit. So what is this new black, makeshift thing? Did Nick Fury come bearing gifts or is this Pete's own creation just like the one he made after Tony Stark took away his high-tech suit in Spider-Man: Homecoming?

17. Mysterio

Mysterio
17/18

Jake Gyllenhaal sure gets a grand entrance. But there's something confusing about his character Mysterio. In the comic books, Quentin Beck aka Mysterio is Spider-Man's adversary. However, in the trailer, we see him help Spidey contain Hydron. Why would a bad guy help superhero unless there is something in it for him?

18. In the end everything is awesome

In the end everything is awesome
18/18

Both, the US and the International trailers gave so much to theorise about. With the release of Captain Marvel on March 8, followed by Avengers: Endgame in April, Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom has a lot of dots to connect. Happy sleuthing.
