Supermodel Cara Delevingne recently, openly spoke about her 'bad habits' during a recent interview with the Sunday Times. She revealed that she got drunk when she was just 8 years but has been sober since 2022.

Cara also discussed the fire incident that destroyed her Los Angeles home in March, causing significant financial losses. Cara recalled a moment from her aunt's wedding in 2001 and revealed she got drunk. She said, "I was eight years old at the time—what a wild age to get drunk."

“I used to think drugs and alcohol helped me cope. But they didn’t, they kept me sad and super depressed. I feel like I’ve got my power back and I’m not being controlled by other things.”

According to People magazine, Cara Delevingne, aged 31, recalled an incident where she noticed paparazzi photographing her after the 2022 Burning Man festival. This experience served as a serious wake-up call for her.

While talking about her recent role, “Listen, I signed up for this, this is my job, it’s what I do. But without that would I be sober now? I would have never been Sally Bowles in the West End, I’m super proud of that."

On March 15, reports emerged that Cara Delevingne's home in Studio City, California, was burtnt. The model experienced a major financial setback due to the fire. However, she noted that her sobriety helped her cope with the situation, suggesting that if she hadn't been sober, the impact would have been much harder to bear.

"It would still affect me really deeply. Of course it affected me, it’s super sad. It never won’t be. But I don’t use it as a tool to keep myself sad,” she said.
