This OTT giant has secured most of the nominations at the Emmy Awards 2024.
At the Annual Primetime Emmy Awards 2024, Netflix achieved a significant milestone by becoming the most nominated individual streaming network, receiving 107 nominations across 35 titles. These nominations celebrated an array of masses and critically acclaimed films and series, including The Crown, Squid Game: The Challenge, Baby Reindeer, The Witcher, 3 Body Problem and Scoop, amongst many others. Sofia Vergara and Nava Mau created history at the 2024 Emmys
Emmys are scheduled to take place on September 7th and 8th, 2024. The nominations have given us many reasons to celebrate! Sofia Vergara made history as the first Latina actress to be nominated in the Lead Actress in a Limited Series category for her role as Griselda Blanco in Griselda. Baby Reindeer’s Nava Mau also broke new ground as the first transgender actress to be nominated in the Supporting Actress in a Limited Series category.
The Crown once again has been nominated for Best Drama Series, maintaining its impressive streak with a nomination for each of its six seasons, Claire Foy has been nominated for her role as Queen Elizabeth II four times. Furthermore, Guy Ritchie earned his first Emmy nomination for his work on The Gentlemen along with whom we have our first-time acting
nominees; Dakota Fanning for Ripley, Dominic West and Lesley Manville for The Crown, Jessica Gunning, Nava Mau and Richard Gadd for their roles in Baby Reindeer.
