Wish Joey King would date me: 'The Kissing Booth 2' actor Taylor Zakhar Perez aka Marco

Now as The Kissing Booth 2 is out, people can't stop raving about the new entrant in the film Marco played by Taylor Zakhar Perez. He is the new school heartthrob and gets drawn towards Joey King's character Elle who is in a long-distance relationship with Noah played by Jacob Elordi. Now during an interaction with an international portal, Taylor spoke all things The Kissing Booth 2 and revealed his relationship status too.

He stated, "I'm not dating someone. Like, I'm a fan of Joey and wish that she would date me, you know what I mean? [Laughs.] I feel like it’s different if you’re in the same industry with each other and a fan of each other's work. I don’t want to say no because you never know. What if you date someone that doesn't know who you are but then becomes a fan of your work?"

Taylor further shared, "Emotional intimacy is way more important to me than sexual intimacy."

The Kissing Booth 2 is based on the book The Kissing Booth 2: Going the Distance written by Beth Reekles. The film also stars Joel Courtney, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Molly Ringwald among others.

The film is a Netflix original flick and is directed by Vince Marcello. The first instalment released in 2018 and was not much appreciated by the critics. However, the second part is being said as slightly better than The Kissing Booth.

During the filming of the first part, Jacob and Joey were dating each other in real life too.
