Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal released from Tihar Jail on interim bail
Ahead of the fourth phase of polling of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to hold election rallies in Maharashtra and Telangana on Friday.
The fourth phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections will take place on May 13. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.
The Prime Minister will be visiting the Nandurbar where he will hold a public meeting, showcasing the support for the respective candidates of the BJP. The PM will campaign in support of BJP candidate and Member of Parliament Heena Gavit.
Heena Vijaykumar Gavit of the BJP was the winning candidate from the Nandurbar Lok Sabha constituency, in the Lok Sabha elections 2019. Gavit has been fielded against Gowaal Padavi.
Thereafter, the Prime Minister will also address a public meeting in Telangana's Mahabubnagar at around 3:15 pm, followed by another public meeting in Hyderabad at around 5:30 pm.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been released from Delhi's Tihar Jail after being granted interim bail in Delhi excise policy case. The Supreme Court granted him interim bail till June 1.
Continuing his attack on Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the opposition party 'hates Hindus and Hindu festivals so much that it is now being exposed daily' and 'wants to make Hindus second-class citizens in their own country'.
Addressing a rally in Mahbubnagar in Telangana, PM Modi referred to remarks on former Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda about the colour of skin of Indians and some of his other remarks to attack the Congress.
He targeted Rahul Gandhi as 'shehzada' and Sam Pitroda as 'guru' of the Congress leader.
In a big relief to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Supreme Court on Friday granted him interim bail till June 1 in the money laundering case registered by the Directorate of Enforcement in connection with the Delhi excise policy, with conditions that he shall not visit the Office of the Chief Minister or the Delhi Secretariat.
A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta ordered Kejriwal to surrender on June 2. Imposing certain conditions while granting Kejriwal interim bail, the apex court said he would not interact with any of the witnesses or have access to any official files connected with the case.
He will not "make any comment with regard to his role" in the present case, the bench ordered. "He shall be bound by the statement made on his behalf that he shall not sign official files unless it is required and necessary for obtaining clearance/ approval of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi," the order stated. The bench further said that he shall furnish bail bonds in the sum of Rs 50,000 with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.

A bus, carrying polling personnel, burst into flames while returning from Goula Village in the Multai assembly constituency of Betul Lok Sabha constituency on May 7. The polling personnel jumped off the bus and were safe. However, four EVMs suffered damage to their parts.
Rahul and CM Reddy boarded the RTC bus at Dil Sukh Nagar in Hyderabad.
Rahul inquired about the free bus travel facility for women on the RTC buses.
Rahul Gandhi explained to the passengers about Yuva Nyay, Kisan Nyay, Nari Nyay, and Shramik Nyay as included in the Congress Manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
Meanwhile, in a public rally in Medak, Telangana, on Thursday, the Congress leader vowed to fill 30 lakh government jobs once the opposition coalition, INDIA bloc comes to power at the Centre.
Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over unemployment woes in the country. He alleged that PM Modi "made crores of youth" unemployed.
"Narendra Modi made crores of youth of the country unemployed. But the Congress party has come up with the scheme of 'first job is permanent'. In this scheme, we will give every educated youth the right to an apprenticeship of Rs 1 lakh. Then as soon as the INDIA government is formed on June 4, we will start the work of filling 30 lakh government jobs," Gandhi said while addressing the gathering in
Medak.
Gandhi alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party had claimed to "destroy the Constitution" while calling the ongoing general elections an "election between two ideologies."
"Our Constitution protects the poor, tribal and backward people in the country. Before the Constitution was formed, the poor people in India did not have any rights. The book of the Constitution is the voice of your heart, which has been achieved by the Congress Party and crores of the people of India after decades-long struggle. But the people of BJP have clearly said that they will destroy the Constitution," he said.

Haryana BJP spokesperson and Karni Sena president Suraj Pal Amu resigned from the party alleging that the BJP gave a Lok Sabha candidate ticket to a person who insulted the Kshatriya community.
He was apparently referring to Union Minister Parshottam Rupala who has been fielded by the BJP from Rajkot Lok Sabha constituency in Gujarat. In his resignation letter to BJP President JP Nadda on Thursday, Amu also alleged that the party has sidelined Rajput leaders.
