New train on Ghaziabad to Meerut route before Sawan: Check stations, fare, travel time to be...

Commuters travelling from Ghaziabad to Meerut in Uttar Pradesh will soon get good news as a new Namo Bharat train will start operating on this route soon. The services are expected to start before the month of ‘Sawan’ begins. 

Currently, a Namo Bharat train operates from Sahibabad to Modinagar North. The new service will extend this route to Meerut South, making travel between Ghaziabad and Meerut much easier for commuters.

Officials have stated that while the exact inauguration date is not yet confirmed, the new section of the Namo Bharat train is expected to be operational before the start of the holy month of ‘Sawan,’ which begins on July 22. The new train service is likely to be launched by July 20.

The new Namo Bharat service could also benefit Kanwariyas travelling for the Kanwar Yatra, which starts on July 22 at the beginning of ‘Sawan.’

The fares for the new Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat train have not been announced yet. Officials have said that the fares will be revealed shortly before the new service begins operations.
