Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to undertake a whirlwind tour of 10 states over the next five days, signalling the beginning of an aggressive campaign for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He will address rallies in three states on Friday itself, kicking off his first public meeting in Raigarh's Kondatarai in Chhattisgarh. This will also be his first visit to the state after the BJP lost in the Assembly elections there.

His second stop is West Bengal, where he will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of the Falakata-Salsalabari section of NH-31D besides addressing a rally.

On Saturday, the PM will unveil a number of projects in Guwahati, including laying the foundation stone of a bridge over the Brahmaputra, an AIIMS and inaugurating a new gas pipeline that will connect the Northeast with national gas grid. PM Modi will then move to Arunachal Pradesh to lay the foundation stone of a new greenfield airport and then to Tripura for a rally before returning to Delhi.

On Sunday, the PM will visit Tamil Nadu's Tirupur and then go to Hubballi in Karnataka for a public rally. The same day, he will also go to Andhra Pradesh for a rally in Guntur. On February 11, he will visit UP's Mathura, where he is expected to serve midday meals to children along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar.

On February 12, the PM will be in Haryana for the Swachh Shakti programme in Kurukshetra which will be attended by women sarpanchs.
