Was Radhe Maa responsible for four suicides?

After dowry charges, Radhe Maa has been accused of instigating four people to commit suicide. A report on NDTV.com, claims that the gowdoman and two of her accomplices had fooled a farming family of seven in Gujarat. She had allegedly taken Rs 1.5 crore from them to ensure peace and prosperity!

The farmers sold their land to pay her the money and committed suicide when they realised they'd been duped. In a complaint filed by Ramesh Joshi, chief trustee of the Saidham Temple in Kandivali (E), she fooled innocent people into believing she could turn their lives around. 

Joshi, after hearing about the dowry harassment charges, went to Kutch and gathered information about the incident. Joshi claimed that Radhe Maa should be held responsible for the suicides. He was quoted saying: “They paid her money after selling everything, including their land, which was their bread and butter.”

In his complaint, Ramesh alleged that Radhe Maa is misleading her devotees and cheating her followers. “People like Radhe Maa are behind defaming Hindus in the country. She lives a luxurious life and portrays herself to be a godwoman,” he said.

Radhe Maa's controversies

Along with the dowry case, she has also been accused of obscene of behaviour by advocate Falguni Brambhatt who has filed a complaint of obscenity against her. She was also banned from the Kumbh Mela in Nashik and was also pictured wearing a garish pink/red skirt and cap in pictures which were allegedly taken in Dubai.
