Speaking at a press conference, Yogi Adityanath said, "Nobody is migrating, who will migrate now that we have come to power? There might be some cases of personal disputes but there is no migration."
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday responded on the issue of exodus of Hindu families in UP's Meerut saying no one is migrating.
Speaking at a press conference, Yogi Adityanath said, "Nobody is migrating, who will migrate now that we have come to power? There might be some cases of personal disputes but there is no migration."
Adityanath's response came after reports surfaced that more than 100 Hindu families have migrated from Meerut.

Earlier on Saturday, Yogi Adityanath had asked the district authorities to investigate the matter and submit a full report to him after the issue was brought to his notice.
However, the police had a differed view in the matter. UP Police said that there are some issues that the locals are facing but it can't be termed as exodus.
"The issues faced by the residents of the locality will be resolved soon. The authorities and police have tried to assure the people and have asked them to not leave the area," UP Police said.
Reports say that a massive exodus of Hindu families is allegedly taking place from Prahlad Nagar area of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, due to eve-teasing by anti-social elements.
According to the Hindu residents and district councillor, several young men from a particular community have been terrorising the people, especially women, by roaming around in speeding bikes and blowing loud horns.
They resort to eve-teasing, bike stunts and fights to scare the girls, making it impossible for them to step out of their homes alone.
Locals in the area complaint that the administration is not listening to them and hasn't taken any action despite being the matter reported to police verbally and in writing. Therefore, people are not satisfied and are trying to sell their homes while many already have.
According to reports, at least 12 houses in the locality have "for sale" written on them, along with the phone numbers of the owners.
