Watch: Gates of Salal Dam on Chenab River opened in J&K
Gates of the Salal Dam on Chenab River in Reasi district opened due to rise in silt in the reservoir owing to heavy rain. An alert was issued by the Salal power station on Aug 20 ahead of opening of dam gates. People are asked not to venture near Chenab River.
