IPL 2020: Sunrisers Hyderabad give David Warner fantastic birthday present with thumping win vs Delhi Capitals

Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020 clash in Dubai. Sunrisers Hyderabad made three changes with Wriddhiman Saha replaching Jonny Bairstow while Kane Williamson and Shahbaz Nadeem replacing Khaleel Ahmed and Priyam Garg. However, all the plans went haywire as David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha chose to counterattack. Wriddhiman Saha blasted 87 and looked good for a century. He hit a six off Kagiso Rabada and tackled the spin of Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin brilliantly. Saha was suffering from cramps towards the end of his innings and he got some treatment from the physio. The opening partnership of 100 with David Warner set the base for a big score. Manish Pandey smashed a brilliant 44 off 31 balls as Sunrisers Hyderabad reached 219/2. This was the highest score by a team in this edition of the IPL in Dubai, beating the previous score of 206 by Kings XI Punjab against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sandeep Sharma got the big wicket of Shikhar Dhawan for a first ball duck as Delhi Capitals made a bad start. Marcus Stoinis was also dismissed cheaply and although Ajinkya Rahane and Shimron Hetmyer tried to stage a revival, Rashid Khan was simply too good.
