Commentary is one profession cricketers choose as their second innings especially for the love of the sport. However, there are some cricketers-turned-commentators who were not exceptional in their international outings but have been doing good in the other field.

Aakash Chopra is one of them who is a known personality among the current crop of experts of the gentlemen's game.

While having had a glittering career in the domestic arena, the former right-hander couldn't make a strong impact during the Sourav Ganguly-era in Indian cricket.

The batsman has also been subjected to trolls and he responded to many of them with utmost grace and dignity. Now once again a Twitter user shared a meme highlighting Chopra's IPL career - where he represented the two-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 7 games.

To this, Chopra replied by saying, "It’s funny for sure. But If this was indeed the case, I can’t thank my folks enough to push me to play cricket first...fortunate to be in a list of just 296 players who’ve got the chance to represent India in Tests."

Nonetheless, things didn't end here as another Twitter user questioned how he got into the KKR unit. However, Chopra still had the last laugh courtesy a befitting reply: "That’s a good one. Lemme go back in time—since there were no domestic T20 at that time, teams went with List-A records, I think. I averaged 346 that year in List-A for Delhi. If my memory is serving me right...3 unbeaten centuries in 4 or 5 games. Good luck with ur selection".

Chopra concluded by saying, "Of course, I found out later that T20 wasn’t my cup of tea or coffee, but wouldn’t have known if I didn’t try my hand at it, you see"

While Chopra featured in only 10 Tests for Team India, his IPL career comprised 7 games with only 53 runs at an average of 8.83, including a high-score of 24.
