The Australian Open 2019 is in full swing. While some of the world ’s biggest tennis stars sweat it out on the court, their partners play the role of their unofficial cheerleaders. Here’s looking at the gorgeous TWAGs (tennis wives and girlfriends) who are gracing the stands.
1. MIRKA FEDERER, ROGER FEDERER’S WIFE

Mirka Federer is a former professional tennis player who is now married to Roger Federer. Love blossomed between the two when they met at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Mirka retired from the sport two years later due to a foot injury and went on to marry Roger in 2009. She has been in the crowd for all of Federer’s greatest moments. They are doting parents to two sets of twins. Mirka accompanies her husband on tours and has also been his public relations manager.
2. MARIA FRANCISCA PERELLO, RAFAEL NADAL’S GIRLFRIEND

Maria Francisca Perello has been dating the Spanish tennis ace for 13 years. The childhood sweethearts, who grew up in their hometown of Palma de Majora, Spain, started dating seriously in 2005. Maria, who also goes by the nickname Xisca, holds a degree in business management and administration from the University of Palma. In 2016, she became the director of social integration for The Rafael Nadal Foundation.

Ester Berdych, who is a professional model, has signed with agencies in Italy, Spain and Malaysia. When not on assignments, she gladly takes to the stands to cheer her husband. She has also graced the covers of international magazines in the Czech Republic. Ester and Tomas dated for three years before tying the knot in Monaco in 2015.
4. JELENA DJOKOVIC, NOVAK DJOKOVIC’S WIFE

Serbian sports star Novak Djokovic and his wife go back a long way. They first met in high school, but only started dating in 2005. They then went on to tie the knot in 2014, and are now blessed with two children. Apart from being his anchor, Jelena has a business administration degree and masters in luxury management and services and also functions as the director of their charity, the Novak Djokovic Foundation, which aims to improve the Serbian education system and help children achieve their dreams.

French player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga married Noura El Shwekh last year. The couple started dating in 2014 and are parents to a son. Noura has her hands full with her family, but is also a great support for Tsonga in the stands.
