    FABULOUS OFF-DUTY

Fall Winter 2018 collections see a litany of field hand style numbers, which work well with athleisure essentials. Designer Nishka Lulla says, “It’s wearable and feminine and one can team it up with a pair of pumps. For a cool off-duty look, pair it with sneakers. The puff or leg-of-mutton sleeves details look interesting and it’s a great take on the vintage style.”

    DRESS UP OR DOWN

Depending on the colour and the fabric, this piece can be worn for both day as well as night outings. Azmina Rahimtoola, store owner Atosa says, “If the dress is in a soft fabric like flowy silk, it could be taken from day to night. If it’s in cotton then it works for lunches and sundowners. I like the pleated style seen at Jil Sander as it’s neither boho nor figure-hugging. All in all — it’s simple, fun and wearable. I also like designer Gabriela Hearst’s minimal take on it.”

    POETIC WHIMSY

The play of innocence in the form of ruffles and other such feminine details are timeless and add an element of grace to a regular wardrobe. Designer Aniket Satam says, “This Resort 2019, the quintessential white milkmaid dress comes with poet sleeves along with a bit of delicate floral sprays. One could easily team this feather-light, almost sheer dress with a pair of skinny jeans for an instant upgrade.”
