| Hello and welcome everyone for yet another warm-up game of this ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021. The defending champions will be in action this evening against Afghanistan. Both teams didn't enjoy a good outing in their first practice game and would be looking to make amends. There is plenty of quality in both the camps but certainly West Indies are a better all-round team than Afghanistan. Can they play like one? Let's find out. |
| The major area where West Indies would look to improve will be their batting. So far, they have not clicked as a unit. Renowned for power-hitting, they would be hopeful of striking that devastating form before the mega event. Afghanistan, on their part, have the advantage of playing in favourable conditions but they too lack depth in both departments. They rely too heavily on a few individuals and need to find a balance not just in the team composition but also in performance. |

| Afghanistan openers started with a bang as they scored 62 runs from the Powerplay. Both the openers scored a quickfire fifty as they raced away to 100 runs at the halfway mark. After the openers departed, cameos by Rahmanullah Gurbaz  and Najibullah Zadran  took them to a very good total in the end. |

| The West Indian bowlers were erratic right from the start and gave away quite a few freebies to the openers. Akeal Hosein was the only bowler who managed to tie things up. Some sloppy fielding didn't help their cause. Obed McCoy, although expensive, bowled a good 19th over and gave away only six runs along with the wickets of two set batters. Andre Russell also bowled a brilliant last over giving away just 4 runs and kept the Afghans inside 200. |
