Adds playing against Australia is really exciting especially at Barbados and also tells they have beaten the Aussies in the recent past. Informs they are going with the same team. Tells they have a great bunch of guys in the set up. Ends up by saying there are a couple of key areas where they can improve and it's all about playi

Ends by informing that Pat Cummins comes in to replace Nathan Ellis.
PITCH REPORT - Naseer Hussain is pitchside. He starts by saying that there is a nice breeze blowing and the short boundary is with the wind. Matthew Hayden joins him and says that it is a fresh pitch for this game but quite similar to the others and there are cracks on it. They also mentions that the average score on thsi ground is 143 but given the nature of players on show you can add a few runs to it but not quite a 180-plus track.

0.0 : Drinks break! Well then, a very well-fought first 10 overs of the first innings but Australia are well in front thanks to that wonderful Powerplay. Both openers, Travis Head and David Warner got away the huge hits early and Warner in particular was in punishing mood. England did well to pick up a couple of quick wickets but are still chasing the game and need a few more wickets in the middle phase to stem the flow of runs. Australia will certainly eye 200 runs from here but can they get to

18.5 : Jofra Archer to Matthew Wade, 2 runs.
18.6 : Jofra Archer to Matthew Wade, What was Wade trying to do here? An appeal for caught behind and up goes the finger. Guns it on the back of a length, right on the top of off, and gets an extra bit of bounce on the surface as well. Matthew Wade pre-meditates and tries to reverse scoop it over short third and fails to connect it as the ball gets heavy on him with the bounce. The English players appeal and celebrate as they believe that the ball brushed off the bat but UltraEdge shows that no

NOT OUT!
19.6 : Chris Jordan to Matthew Wade, DRAMA!
Pheww, that was ome end to the first innings and overall, what an exciting watch that was! Full of boundaries, exciting cricket and a bit of that old flame between the two rivals but at the halfway mark, it will be the reigning ODI World Champions who will be very pleased with that total on the board.
0.0 : Riding on a brisk start, Australia managed to get 22 runs each off the 2nd and 4th overs which put them in the driver's seat. David Warner looked particularly dangerous but fell inside the Powerplay and then, Travis Head followed him to the pavilion as well. Still, 74 runs in the first 6 overs was the perfect start and even through the middle overs, they were able to keep on scoring at a decent rate. Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell got a few crucial runs before Marcus Stoinis played a fine
England will be fairly deflated after that bowling performance and the fact that they took so much time to bowl their 20 overs, they were left somewhat frustrated as well. The decision to start with spin from both ends didn't work out as after a tidy first over, the part-timer, Will Jacks was taken to the cleaners and they were under the pump from thereon. England bowled decently through the middle overs but couldn't pick up wickets and it was then a double blow for the second time that they w
David Warner is down for a quick chat. Warner says that he thinks it is a competitve total. They knew there will be spin inside the Powerplay and says they tried to get as many runs as they could against them.
Right then, 202 runs needed for the reigning T20 World Champions to get a win against their eternal rivals and given how the competition has gone by, it will be extremely difficult. However, England do have the batting lineup to get this third-highest chase in the history of the Men's T20 World Cup and this could really end up being an all-time classic. Join us in a bit as the all-important run chase is up next.
