| We have witnessed a very well measured first session of play from both the teams. Australia were on the front foot at the start but then the Indian batting did well to claw back into the game, albeit slowly. Although, Australia would be the happier side at the end of the first session of play. |
| Australia were right on the money, from the very first ball. Starc got rid of Shaw right on the 2nd ball of the day and India were already on the back foot right at the start. | What an amazing session we have had. Test cricket lives upto its charm. Resuming on their overnight score of 7/1, India soon found themselves in deep waters when they were reduced to 15/5. None of the batsmen looked to adjust to the conditions as they kept on coming and going away. None of them managed to get to even double digits as Pujara and Rahane went without scoring. Shami though got injured and helped India avoid the blushes of getting out for a paltry 36 in their second innings. |
