0.0 : Hello and a warm welcome everyone for the third ODI between Australia and Pakistan in Perth. The visiting team finally managed to get off the mark on this tour in the last match and will be relieved more than happy at the moment. They would like to build a winning momentum from here on and take a lead in the series. Australia on the other hand will be hurt after the loss and would be eyeing a comeback today. With plenty at stake here, expect a cracking contest.
Toss - Australia win the toss and elect to field! As they have already declared, Peter Handscomb is making his ODI debut, replacing Mitchell Marsh while Billy Stanlake comes back in the playing XI, replacing Mitchell Starc. Pakistan on the other hand have decided not to tinker with their winning XI.

Pakistan limp their way to a modest total! They will be very disappointed with their batting in the last 10 overs where they just managed 50 runs. It appeared as if they ran out of gas towards the business end.
After losing Hafeez early, the pair of Sharjeel and Azam steadied the innings with a 49-run stand. The former got out soon after getting to his fifty but the latter continued to score freely. Babar was dropped on 30, 55 and 74 but still failed to get to his century. Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal also looked in fine touch but they too failed to convert their starts and as a result, Pakistan managed a below par total.
It was a good bowling performance by Australia. However, they were a bit sloppy in the field. Josh Hazlewood led the attack superbly in the absence of Mitchell Starc and bagged a 3-fer. Billy Stanlake, Pat Cummins and Travis Head did a decent job as well. The pitch looks like a good one for batting with fair bounce in it and Pakistan will have to bowl extremely well to defend their total. Do join us in a short while for the chase.
