| If there ever was an impact statement made, the defending champions have done that just now. Wrapped up Bangalore for their joint-second lowest total in the Indian T20 League and the lowest against them in this competition. From the beginning itself, Chennai were always on top. Got rid of Virat Kohli early in the Powerplay and there was no looking back for them from that point on. Pathiv Patel top scored with 29, while the rest didn't even get into double figures. |
