SESSION SUMMARY - 91 runs and 4 wickets in 26 overs. We saw some great pace bowling in this first session, especially from Mark Wood who was on fire. The hosts missed this kind of aggression in the first two Tests but will be glad to have him now as he has troubled the Aussies so far. The batters scored runs at a good rate as well o this quick outfield but England will be the happier side going into the break.
A captivating session of Test cricket! England got off to a dream start as Stuart Broad got rid of David Warner in the very first over and for the 16th time in his career. Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne steadied things for the visitors for a bit. However, it was the fiery spell from Mark Wood that caught the attention of everyone as he was bowling really quick and removed Khawaja with a peach as well.
