| PITCH REPORT - Murali Karthik with the pitch report along with Sunil Gavaskar. Moving towards the surface, the latter feels that the cracks and patches on the surface will help the spinners. Reckons that the home side may play a couple or even three spinners. Also feels that the new ball will come on nicely to the bat. | As far as the Indian bowling is considered, they tried really hard and fought valiantly to defend an under-par score but in the end just fell short. Jasprit Bumrah was exceptional picking up 3 wicket for just 16 runs with support from the spinners. Umesh Yadav was a tad bit disappointing except for a good over in the middle.
