Hello and welcome to match 6 of the Indian T20 League 2020. Today Virat Kohli's Bangalore takes on KL Rahul's Punjab. Both teams had contrasting starts to their journey in this year's tournament. Bangalore won from the point of losing the game and Punjab, on the other hand, lost the game from the point of winning it. PITCH REPORT - Kevin Pietersen is  down for the pitch report. Pietersen says that the surface is very dry and he reckons it will be good for batting and feels the fast bowlers won't get as much as they got in the last game. KP feels that winning the toss and chasing looks the way to go due to the dew factor but reminds Bangalore won their last game bowling second here. He tells that the boundaries here are big unlike Sharjah. Pietersen though recommends winning the toss and bowling first.

Virat Kohli would be angry with his fielding today as his two dropped chances might cost Bangalore the game. Punjab though looked set for the total around 180 but once KL Rahul got dropped twice it gave them the momentum to go bang bang. That changed the game in favour of Punjab and they look favourites now.
The day is all about Rahul! His hitting was impressive. He stitched a couple of 50-run stand early on and then Karun Nair gave him good company as Rahul unleashed his deadly side today. His 132 runs helped Punjab end up slightly above par.
Bangalore bowlers were all over the place as none except Chahal and Dube looked at ease. Steyn and Yadav were taken to the cleaners. Bangalore bowlers were all over the park today and towards the end took a real pounding from KL Rahul.
This is going to be a tough chance! The wicket is a good one and the re is dew out there but Bangalore have to bat really well. They do have the players in their line-up but they are up against a decent Punjab bowling attack. An interesting chase awaits.

An authoritative win for Punjab in the end! For Punjab, it was always going to be an uphill task for them after conceding 200 runs. It became improbable for them after they lost 3 quick wickets inside 10 overs. Failure of ABD and Finch meant that it was all over for Bangalore. What was more disappointing is that none of the batters looked to settle into the game as Bangalore were all out with 3 overs to spare.
The Punjab bowlers were just amazing with the ball today. Cottrell and Shami set the stage first up with removing the top order and then it was just a matter of time when the spinners took over the mantle. Ravi Bishnoi, Murugan Ashwin shared 6 wickets between them as Cottrell took a couple which also included the wicket of Virat Kohli. Shami once again was brilliant as he took a wicket. Also Maxwell had one to his name. James Neesham did well in his two overs too.
Virat Kohli, the Bangalore skipper, says that he is disappointed with the performance. Adds that a couple of vital chances which were put down by him cost them big time.
