0.0 : Two games yesterday, two games today. As cricket fans what more you want! Saturday was for the lesser-fancied teams who punched above their weight to get an elusive victory for themselves. What's in store today? Super Sunday starts with the clash between Kolkata and Chennai at the Eden Gardens. The touring team won the reverse fixture quite comprehensively and that derailed Kolkata's momentum a bit as they are now on a couple of losing rut. Back home, the 2-time champions would like to get their |
Toss - Up goes the coin and it comes down in favour of MS Dhoni. He decides that CHENNAI WILL FIELD! |
Chennai skipper, MS Dhoni says that they will bowl first as he feels the wicket here is quite good and it's difficult to contain the batsmen once they get going. Mentions that they are feeling strong, a few players have niggles and hopes Dwayne Bravo will soon return to give balance to their combination. Knows that their batting has some scope for improvement but at the same time is happy with the way they have chased down targets in spite of that. Informs that they are unchanged. |
Kolkata skipper, Dinesh Karthik says that they have to bat well at the start and then hit the right areas with the ball. Adds that it's been flat surface here and it's hard to get wickets. Says they are positive and looking forward to this match. Informs about the three changes for Kolkata (flu is the reason once again) - Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine and Harry Gurney return in place of Joe Denly, Lockie Ferguson and Carlos Brathwaite. |
Unchanged Chennai (Playing XI) - Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni(WK/C), Ravindra Jadeja, Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Imran Tahir. |
Kolkata (Playing XI) - Sunil Narine (In for Carlos Brathwaite), Chris Lynn (In for Joe Denly), Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik(WK/C), Andre Russell, Shubman Gill, Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Harry Gurney (In for Lockie Ferguson). |
We are all set to begin. Michael Hussey rings the bell. The players and umpires are out in the middle. Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine will open the batting for Kolkata. Deepak Chahar will start the proceedings for Chennai. A slip in place for him. |
0.1 : D Chahar to C Lynn, Some swing straightaway for Deepak Chahar. He pitches it up and outside off, moving in the air, Lynn drives it off his front foot to covers. |
0.2 : D Chahar to C Lynn, Chahar pulls his length back a bit this time, outside off, Lynn goes on his toes and taps it down towards point. |
0.3 : D Chahar to C Lynn, Back of a length delivery outside off, Chris pushes it off his back foot towards mid off. Comes out of the crease but then turns down the single. |
0.4 : D Chahar to C Lynn, FOUR! A very poor delivery by Chahar this time, probably it just slipped off his hand. Plenty of width on offer outside off, short and wide, Lynn chases it and slaps it over covers. It goes on one bounce to the fence. The umpire just checks it upstairs before signalling the boundary. 1000 runs in the League for the Aussie as well. |
0.5 : D Chahar to C Lynn, FOUR! Chahar is losing it here. Yet another poor delivery, short and wide again, outside off, Lynn exercises his arms and slams it over covers for back-to-back boundaries. |
0.6 : D Chahar to C Lynn, Better line. Full and on off, angling in, Lynn defends it back from the back foot. Two boundaries from the first over. |
Shardul Thakur to bowl from the other end. |
1.1 : S Thakur to S Narine, Good bounce on this one. It was bowled on a good length on middle, Narine looks to defend but gets beaten by the away movement on this one. |
1.2 : S Thakur to S Narine, Length delivery on leg, Narine looks to tuck but gets hit on the thigh pad. It goes towards square leg. The batsmen take a run. The umpire gives it as a leg bye. |
1.3 : S Thakur to C Lynn, Bowls full on middle, Lynn defends it off the front foot. |
1.4 : S Thakur to C Lynn, Short of a length delivery, Lynn looks to pull but mistimes it to mid-wicket. |
1.5 : S Thakur to C Lynn, Full on middle, Lynn drives it to mid on. |
1.6 : S Thakur to C Lynn, Short of a length delivery, Lynn pulls it towards square leg for a run. Just 2 runs have come from the over. Good start by Shardul Thakur. |
2.1 : D Chahar to C Lynn, FOUR! Chahar is having a very ordinary beginning today and that's a rarity. Is he trying too hard? This is not the length he generally bowls. Lands it short and outside off, Lynn stays back and pulls it mercilessly over mid-wicket. There is a fielder in the deep but still it goes to the boundary. |
2.2 : D Chahar to C Lynn, SIX! Chahar is not learning. MS Dhoni should walk up and has a chat with him, this is not looking good for the bowler. Under tremendous pressure. He hurls in yet another short delivery on off, Lynn stays leg side of this one and pulls it mightily and all the way over mid-wicket. |
2.3 : D Chahar to C Lynn, FOUR! Runs are just flowing from Lynn's bat. Chahar corrects his length this time but still provides enough width outside off. Lynn rocks back and drills it through extra cover. 14 off the over, so far. |
2.4 : D Chahar to C Lynn, A well-directed bouncer by Chahar, at 132.4 kph, Lynn makes a late leave. |
2.5 : D Chahar to C Lynn, Angles in a shortish ball on middle, Lynn swings his bat as he attempts to pull after coming down the track but it takes the inner half and rolls to the left of the keeper. MS Dhoni collects it. Two dot balls. |
2.6 : D Chahar to C Lynn, Make it three dots. A good comeback from the bowler. Aims the middle stump with a length ball, Lynn pushes it out to mid on. |
3.1 : S Thakur to S Narine, Short and outside off, Narine cuts it through point for a run. |
3.2 : S Thakur to C Lynn, FOUR! Nice shot from Chris Lynn. Full on middle, Lynn drives it straight past the bowler through mid off for a boundary. |
3.3 : S Thakur to C Lynn, Bowls short delivery on middle, Lynn pulls it straight towards the bowler where Shardul does well to stop it. |
3.4 : S Thakur to C Lynn, On a good length and outside off, Lynn looks to smash but misses it due to the outward movement on this one. |
3.5 : S Thakur to C Lynn, Bowls short again on leg, Chris looks to pull but misses it and gets hit on the thigh pad. It goes to the off side. |
3.6 : S Thakur to C Lynn, FOUR! Second boundary of the over. Full on off, Lynn makes room and drives it through cover-point for a boundary. 9 runs have come from the over. Yet another good over for Kolkata. |
A forced change from MS Dhoni, must say. Deepak Chahar usually bowls three overs inside the Powerplay but today he has been off-colour and Dhoni has decided to replace him with Mitchell Santner. Spinner bowling and Narine on strike. Mouth-watering prospect... |
4.1 : M Santner to S Narine, Bowled quicker and flatter outside off, Narine goes for a big whack but misses the ball completely. Dhoni fails to collect as well but no run conceded. |
4.2 : M Santner to S Narine, Darted fuller outside off, SN drives it along the ground towards mid off. |
4.3 : M Santner to S Narine, 3 wides! Hurled down the leg side by Santner. Dhoni again misses the collection. The ball runs fine on the leg side for a couple of runs. Free runs these for Kolkata. |
M Santner to S Narine, Another flatter one bowled outside off, Narine gets his drive wide to the right of mid off for a single. |
4.4 : M Santner to C Lynn, Good ball! Bowled at the body of the batsman, Lynn has no room to free his arms and can only push this back to long on for a single. |
4.5 : M Santner to S Narine, OUT! Faf du Plessis takes it! Narine was playing and missing all along, this time he holes out! Slightly flighted ball outside off, Narine decides to take on long on but does not have enough power on this shot. He ends up holing out to du Plessis who is positioned exactly for this at long on and takes a good catch against the sun. Kolkata lose their first and Chennai after a pasting initially are pulling things back well. |
Nitish Rana walks out to bat next. |
4.6 : M Santner to N Rana, Good ball! This one goes away from the lefty after landing and Rana had no idea about the ball. A flatter one on middle and off, Nitish was trying to defend from the crease but the ball turns away a bit and goes off the thick outside edge towards backward point. No damage caused though. Great over from Santner comes to a close, 5 runs and a wicket off it in the end. |
Ravindra Jadeja is into the attack. |
5.1 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, Tossed up on middle, Lynn defends it out. |
5.2 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, Full on off, Lynn drives it towards covers for a single. |
5.3 : R Jadeja to N Rana, FOUR! Safe shot from Nitish Rana. Very full and outside off, Rana drives it uppishly through covers for a boundary. |
Rana is bowled! Wait, he was not ready and pulls out at the last moment. Jadeja has this habit of rushing through his overs. Nitish wasn't ready and is well within his rights to pull out. Jadeja though continues with his delivery stride and bowls. It breaks the stumps at the other end. Reload. |
5.4 : R Jadeja to N Rana, Flighted delivery on off, Rana plays it towards point for a run. |
5.5 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, FOUR! Second boundary of the over. Short and on off, Lynn makes room and cuts it through point for a boundary. |

6.2 : M Santner to C Lynn, Full on off, Chris drives it towards mid off for a run. |
6.3 : M Santner to N Rana, Tossed up on middle and leg, Rana nudges it towards square leg for a run. |
6.4 : M Santner to C Lynn, SIX! Caught but in the crowd! Santner flights this one and lands it full around middle, inviting the batsman there, Lynn accepts the proposal, rushes down the track and hammers it over long on. Moves to 45! |
6.5 : M Santner to C Lynn, Floated on middle, Lynn defends it off the front foot. |
6.6 : M Santner to C Lynn, Tossed up on middle, Lynn comes down the track and plays it towards mid on for a single. 9 runs have come from the over. |

7.6 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, Tossed up on middle, Chris keeps it out. |
Imran Tahir to bowl now. |
8.1 : I Tahir to N Rana, Defended off the front foot by the batsman presenting the full face of the bat. |
8.2 : I Tahir to N Rana, Loopy full and on off, Rana drives it square on the off side and takes a single. |
8.3 : I Tahir to C Lynn, Flatter and shorter on off, it's punched back past the bowler to long off for a run. |
8.4 : I Tahir to N Rana, Played to the mid-wicket region by the batsman. One run added to the total. |
8.5 : I Tahir to C Lynn, Fifty for Chris Lynn, his 8th in the League! A short delivery outside off, the Aussie cuts it towards backward point and crosses for a single. He's showing good form and would like to make a big one today. |
8.6 : I Tahir to N Rana, Quicker and flatter on middle, Rana tried to work it around but it took his pads and rolled back to the bowler. 4 from the leggie's first over. |
Strategic break. Steady going from Kolkata in spite of losing a wicket. Shardul Thakur and Mitchell Santner have bowled well but same cannot be said for Ravindra Jadeja and Deepak Chahar. Chris Lynn is looking in dangerous form and he can prove to be a big thorn for the visiting team. The middle phase is about to begin and with the spinners expected to bowl maximum overs, let's see how things pan out. |
9.1 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, Tossed up on middle, Lynn punches it towards covers for a single. |

9.6 : R Jadeja to N Rana, Floated on middle, Rana flicks it towards mid-wicket for a run. |
10.1 : I Tahir to N Rana, Tossed up on leg, Rana flicks it through square leg. The fielder fires a throw at the keeper's end and Dhoni whips the bails off but Rana was comfortably in. The batsmen get two runs. |
10.2 : I Tahir to N Rana, OUT! Tahir is off on his train! And why not, his national team skipper has taken another catch. Another lefty holes out at long on, this time it is Rana! A flighted ball on middle and leg by Tahir, Rana wants to put pressure on the bowler. He goes for the big one over long on despite there being a fielder back there. He does not get enough power on it and ends up giving a simple catch to Faf du Plessis at long on. Chennai strike just when they really needed to. |
Robin Uthappa walks out to bat next. |
10.3 : I Tahir to C Lynn, Floated on leg, Lynn plays it towards mid on for a run. |
10.4 : I Tahir to R Uthappa, OUT! Uthappa goes first ball! The Tahir train is off again! What a catch this is! Incredible athleticism from du Plessis! A flighted ball on middle and off first up to the new batsman. Uthappa does not want to waste any time and looks to go for a biggie over the leg side. He ends up getting a top edge and the ball goes straight up in the air just outside the circle at mid off. Du Plessis from wide long off has to run a long way before diving full length to take an exc |
Dinesh Karthik is the new batsman in. |
10.5 : I Tahir to C Lynn, Tossed up on middle, Lynn drives it straight back towards the bowler. |
10.6 : I Tahir to C Lynn, Short and outside off, Lynn cuts it through point for a run. What an over from Imran Tahir, two wickets and 4 runs from it. Brilliant stuff from the seasoned campaigner. |

11.1 : D Chahar to C Lynn, On a good length on off, Lynn drives it to covers. |
11.2 : D Chahar to C Lynn, Length delivery on off, Lynn plays it towards point for a single. |
11.3 : D Chahar to D Karthik, OUCH! BUT SAFE! Bowls a short of a length delivery, Karthik looks to pull but gets hit on the helmet. The ball goes towards point. The batsmen take a run. It should have been given a leg bye but it has been given as a run. |
Chennai's batting coach, Michael Hussey is caught for an interview by Danny Morrison near the boundary line. Mr. Cricket says that it's going good so far for them in this season but it's only half way in the tournament and they need to keep doing well. Feels that to have the older players is an advantage as they bring experience along with them. On the pitch, he considers it to be good for batting and is happy with the wickets that are falling. He is confident that his team will chase down the t |
11.4 : D Chahar to C Lynn, SIX! Amazing shot from Chris Lynn. Bowls short again, Lynn pulls it over square leg for a maximum. |

Ravindra Jadeja comes back on. |
13.1 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, SIX! As flat as you get them! A flatter one on middle and leg, Lynn backs away before smashing that one over deep cover. The ball goes right back over the ropes with the power on it! |
13.2 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, SIX! Two in two now! A short one, dragged down on middle by Jadeja, Lynn rocks back, frees his arm before lifting this one over deep mid-wicket for a huge one. Jaddu under pressure! |
13.3 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, SIX! Flighted ball on middle, the ball is right under the nose of Lynn. He swings through the line and makes it three in a row. The long on fielder is a mere spectator! 18 runs off 3 balls. |
13.4 : R Jadeja to C Lynn, Misses out there. Fired in really quick outside off, Lynn looks to smash it over the off side but is late on that shot. The ball goes off the inside half and towards cover for a single. |
13.5 : R Jadeja to D Karthik, Some sense prevails now as DK comes back on strike. A flighted ball on middle, Karthik waits for the ball to reach him before defending it watchfully back towards the bowler. |
13.6 : R Jadeja to D Karthik, FOUR! Make it 23 off this over! A flatter one on middle and leg, Karthik comes inside the line and sweeps it away fine on the leg side. The ball beats deep backward square leg and reaches the fence. Just the over Kolkata would have wanted! |
Imran Tahir is back into the attack. |
14.1 : I Tahir to C Lynn, WIDE! Bowls it wide outside off, Lynn lets it go. |
I Tahir to C Lynn, OUT! Chris Lynn is dismissed by Imran Tahir and it's a massive breakthrough for Chennai. The Aussie was firing on all cylinders, looking very dangerous but an inspirational bowling change from Dhoni and Tahir has done the trick. He delivers a flatter ball, on middle, probably a googly, Lynn shapes up for a slog sweep but it turns in to take the inside half and goes aerially to deep square leg. Shardul Thakur makes no mistake as he slides to take a safe catch in the deep. |
Andre Russell walks out to bat next. |
14.2 : I Tahir to A Russell, FOUR! First boundary for Andre Russell. Bowls a googly on middle, Russell powerfully smashes it through mid-wicket for a boundary. |
14.3 : I Tahir to A Russell, Floated on middle, Russell defends it out. |
14.4 : I Tahir to A Russell, SIX! This is even better from Andre Russell. Flighted delivery on middle, Russell plays a slog sweep over mid-wicket for a biggie. |
14.5 : I Tahir to A Russell, OUT! The big man is gone! Tahir is turning this game on its head! Kolkata have fallen silent! A flighted one way outside off, excellent ball from Tahir. Credits to him for bowling this one without being scared. Russell decides to still take on that one but ends up mistiming it. He fails to get the power and the elevation that he would have liked. The ball flies flat towards Dhruv Shorey, the substitute fielder at long on who takes a smart catch diving forward. Huge wi |
Shubman Gill is the new batsman in. |
14.6 : I Tahir to S Gill, Tossed up on off, Gill drives it towards extra cover for a run. Another 2-wicket over from Imran Tahir. What a bowler he is! |

15.4 : M Santner to D Karthik, FOUR! In supreme control there, the KOL skipper. A full toss on middle, Karthik lifts it over the head of mid-wicket in the circle. The ball beats both the fielders in the deep and reaches the rope. |
15.5 : M Santner to D Karthik, Smart, sensible batting. A flatter one on middle, turned away for a single to deep mid-wicket. |
15.6 : M Santner to S Gill, Another single to end the over. Flatter on middle, punched back for a run by Gill. That is the end of Santner's spell. He ends with figures of 4-0-30-1. |
Strategic break! It has been a good turnaround for Chennai. Kolkata are losing their way and have lost Chris Lynn as well as Andre Russell at the wrong time. Dinesh Karthik and Shubman Gill will be the key for Kolkata to reach 190 from this stage. The visitors would try to restrict them to something lesser than that. Let's see who succeeds... |
16.1 : I Tahir to S Gill, Tahir drags this one really short outside off, cut away to deep point for a couple of runs. |
16.2 : I Tahir to S Gill, This is slower through the air, Gill waits for the ball and watchfully defends it towards the off side. |
16.3 : I Tahir to S Gill, Fuller this time, driven all along the ground to long on for a run as Shubman gets his skipper back on strike. |
16.4 : I Tahir to D Karthik, Another beautifully flighted delivery on middle, Karthik turns it away to square leg for a couple of runs. The throw from the deep is a wayward one but there is no extra run conceded as Raina backs up well. |
16.5 : I Tahir to D Karthik, Flighted outside off, crunched away through the covers for a run by DK. |
16.6 : I Tahir to S Gill, Another single to end this over and the quota of Tahir. This flighted ball goes to long off from Gill's blade. Imran has been brilliant today, 4-0-27-4 read his figures! |
Shardul Thakur comes on to bowl now. He has figures of 2-0-10-0 so far. |
17.1 : S Thakur to S Gill, 150 up for Kolkata. Length delivery on middle, Gill drives it towards mid on for a run. |
17.2 : S Thakur to D Karthik, OUT! Fourth catch for Faf du Plessis! The ball has been following him today in the field. Thakur serves a fuller length ball outside off at 136.3 kph, Karthik keeps his weight on the back foot, trying to heave it over the leg side, but ends up towering it straight up in the air at long off. Yet another flop show from the Kolkata skipper this season. This is excellent going for Chennai at the back end of the innings. |
Piyush Chawla is the new batsman in. |
17.3 : S Thakur to S Gill, Length delivery on middle, Gill flicks it through mid-wicket for a run. |
17.4 : S Thakur to P Chawla, On a length on leg, Chawla flicks it towards square leg and gets off the mark with a single. |
17.5 : S Thakur to S Gill, Bowls a bouncer, Gill does well to duck under it. |
17.6 : S Thakur to S Gill, Full on off, Gill squeezes it through point for a run. 4 runs and a wicket from the over. Good one for Chennai. |
Deepak Chahar is back into the attack. |
18.1 : D Chahar to S Gill, Bowls it wide outside off, Gill shoulders his arms to this one. It should have been a wide but the umpire does not spot it. |
18.2 : D Chahar to S Gill, Full on middle and leg, Gill flicks it through square leg for a single. |
18.3 : D Chahar to P Chawla, Short delivery outside off, Chawla initially shapes up for the pull shot but after watching the line, he just guides it down to third man for a run. |
18.4 : D Chahar to S Gill, Very full and on middle, speared in, Gill swings his bat across the line and it goes behind off the inner half. Dhoni collects it. |
18.5 : D Chahar to S Gill, Short delivery, Gill looks to pull but mistimes it towards mid-wicket for a single. |
18.6 : D Chahar to P Chawla, Short and outside off, Chawla pulls it towards square leg for a run. It has been a top over from Chahar. Just 4 runs from the over. |
19.1 : S Thakur to P Chawla, Wide! Thakur lands it on a good length but way wide outside off. Chawla chases and misses. |
S Thakur to P Chawla, Back of a length ball on leg at 136 kph, Chawla backs away to pull but fails to get enough wood on it. The ball travels to square leg and they cross. |
19.2 : S Thakur to S Gill, DROPPED! But a great stop, have to say. A length ball on off, Gill stands back and slaps it straight back aerially towards the bowler. Thakur takes his right hand out in his followthrough to catch the ball but it doesn't stick. The bowler shows no reaction and heads to his mark. Certainly has saved a few runs there, if not a boundary. |
19.3 : S Thakur to S Gill, A mistimed shot. Thakur dishes out a length ball outside off, Gill mistimes his lofted shot over covers. It falls safely in the deep and they take two. |
19.4 : S Thakur to S Gill, Pitches it up and outside off, Gill drills his drive through the line but finds extra cover. Decides not to run. |
19.5 : S Thakur to S Gill, OUT! Gill departs! Thakur hunts him down with a short ball. Gill gets on top of the bounce to play the pull shot. It appears that the connection is good but it's not good enough to take it over the rope. Jadeja takes the catch safely at deep mid-wicket. Kolkata's innings just failed to get going at the death. |
Kuldeep Yadav is in next. |
19.6 : S Thakur to P Chawla, OUT! A run out on the final ball and Kolkata end with 161/8 on the board. A terrific yorker by Thakur, following the batsman down the leg side, Chawla swings but fails to connect. They attempt to steal a bye but Dhoni tosses up the ball to the bowler who runs to his end and takes the bails off. |
Excellent bowling effort by Chennai at the back end of this innings. They gave away just 28 runs in the final five overs and picked up three wickets too. That completely spoiled Kolkata's hope of maximizing the death overs and they ended up with a below-par total on this ground. |
Kolkata initiated brightly after being put into bat. Chris Lynn was in top gear from the word go and he took Deepak Chahar, the best bowler for Chennai in the Powerplay before this match, to the cleaners. That set the momentum going for the hosts and they looked destined for a total close to 180-185 with the likes of Andre Russell due to bat. |
Chennai were under pressure in the first half but then made a resounding comeback on the back of Imran Tahir's overs. The leggie bowled with great control and picked up four wickets in his spell and pegged the opposition back in the middle overs. Chris Lynn, Nitish Rana, Robin Uthappa and Andre Russell were his victims, all star players, and that speaks volumes about his performance. Shardul Thakur and Mitchell Santner were also quite impressive in their spells. |
Chris Lynn is down for a chat. He feels pretty good about his own score but mentions now that they have 160 on the board, they have to try and defend it. He informs that the wicket was sightly two-paced and he hopes that his team's bowlers are on form tonight. Reckons they were looking good when he himself was dismissed, because Russell and Gill were yet to bat but it was unfortunate for them to lose wickets in clusters. He states that it would be nice to knock a few wickets of Chennai down in t |
Right then, a target of 162 at the Eden Gardens for Chennai to win the reverse fixture as well. Their batting has been inconsistent but somehow has done enough to take the yellow team home. Will they do the same again? Or will Kolkata have the quality in their bowling to restrict them? Do join us in a short while to find out. |
0.0 : Back for the run chase. The Kolkata players are taking the field. Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis are the usual openers for Chennai. Prasidh Krishna to begin proceedings with the new ball. A slip in place. Here we go... |
0.1 : P Krishna to S Watson, FOUR! What a way to start! Full face of the bat and Watto is up and away with a boundary. Fuller length on middle, driven back past mid on by Watson and there is no stopping that one. Excellent presentation of the bat. |
0.2 : P Krishna to S Watson, Good comeback from the bowler! A length ball outside off and jags in a bit after landing, Watson looks to defend but the ball goes off the inside edge towards square leg for a single. Could have easily played on there! |
Issue here for Faf du Plessis. He's pointing at the sightscreen for some movement there, probably... |
0.3 : P Krishna to du Plessis, FOUR! That is easy pickings for a player of Faf's caliber! A really full ball, almost yorker length. Du Plessis gets his bat down in time and just angles it away through square leg for a boundary. Both batsmen off the mark with fours! |
0.4 : P Krishna to du Plessis, On a length outside off, left alone by du Plessis this time. |
0.5 : P Krishna to du Plessis, Quick single. On a length outside off, pushed back to the right of mid off and a quick single is taken. |
0.6 : P Krishna to S Watson, Good ball to end the over. On top of off stump, Watson keeps it out watchfully. 10 runs off the first one, excellent start for Chennai! |
Harry Gurney to bowl from the other end. |
