9.2 : Direct hit from the deep. This looks really close. Faf can be in trouble. De Kock has took the bails off with his hands. But looks like when the ball came in the mitts, even then Faf wasn't in. A tough call for the TV umpire to make. The umpire is taking his time. Replays show that Faf made it in by the time the second bail was dislodged. Third umpire confirms the same.

11.5 : Will we see MS Dhoni come up the order? No, here comes Ambati Rayudu.
Kieron Pollard to Faf du Plessis, OUT! TAKEN! Faf du Plessis has been removed now. It is Pollard who has provided them the big wicket. A lovely slower one from him. It is outside off, Faf moves inside the crease and looks to scoop. He though ends up miscuing it high in the air towards short fine leg. De Kock and Bumrah both try to catch but Bumrah manages to hold on. Could've been a collision there but Bumrah managed to hold on.
11.6 : Kieron Pollard to Suresh Raina, OUT! TAKEN! Another one for Pollard. He is turning it on for Mumbai here. Raina has been sent packing for just 2. What an over. Fuller ball around middle, Raina looks to power it over the deep mid-wicket fence but he fails to time it as well as he would've liked. Ends up hitting it high in the air and straight to Krunal at deep mid-wicket. Brilliant over from Pollard and a superb decision from Rohit to give the ball to him.

First, Jasprit Bumrah got Moeen Ali and then Kieron Pollard struck on consecutive balls to send back Faf du Plessis and Suresh Raina. 19.6 : The start for Chennai wasn't a good one as one of their in-form openers was dismissed for just 4, in the first over. However, Faf continued his form and so did Moeen. The southpaw took the aggressive route and took the bowlers on. The duo added 108 between them with Moeen getting dismissed in the 11th over after getting to his half ton. Faf too reached the milestone but soon joined Ali in the pavilion. Suresh Raina got out without doing much and 112 for 1 soon became 116 for 4. If Mumbai thought
Mumbai opted to bowl first after winning the toss and Boult with a wicket in the first over proved the decision right as he got rid of Gaikwad. However, after that, the bowlers were spanked all over the park. It was Pollard's 2-wicket over that brought them back in the game. But they failed to apply the pressure after Pollard was taken off as Rayudu smashed the other bowlers all over the park. Bumrah was taken apart in his 4 overs as he gave away 56 for his 1 wicket. Boult and Dhawal too weren't
Take a bow, Rayudu! What a sensational finish from him. 82 from the final 5 overs and Chennai have put on a mountain of a total. What a brilliant effort from them. They didn't start well and got going. They lost track again but Rayudu has finished things in a blazing style for them.
Moeen Ali is down for a chat. He says that the conditions are good and they batted well. Adds that they have to take the conditions into account and play accordingly. Says that Rayudu played an amazing knock when the situation was tricky. Adds that they will look to take early wickets as Mumbai has a strong batting lineup.

15.5 : Lungi Ngidi to Kieron Pollard, One more single! Short ball, pulled to deep square leg for one.

He ends up sending it high in the air to the left of deep mid-wicket. Gaikdwad runs that side and tries to catch but fails. And the ball bounces away to the fence.

Shorter ball, outside off. Kieron Pollard miscues his pull and the ball goes high in the air wide of long on. Faf du Plessis runs across to his right, dives and even gets his fingers to it but drops. We have seen him taking tougher catches than this but such is the game of cricket.

Hope you have your nails intact after this one.
Earlier in the game, on the back of some brilliant knocks from Moeen, Faf and Rayudu, Chennai posted a mammoth score on the board. First, it was Moeen and Faf who set the tone. Chennai lost the plot for a moment but Rayudu played an unbelievable knock to provide a brilliant finish. However, that target too was breached by strong Mumbai batting.
Stay tuned for the presentation!
Hardik Pandya comes up for a chat now. He says that he is pumped after winning such a game and adds that he might be pumped for the rest of the night. Says that when Pollard does someone like this, one is left speechless. Tells that he would have loved to finish the game. Adds that one of his sixes came off the bottom of the bat and still, went all the way. Feels that this game was very important and doing something like this is special.
Mumbai bowlers had a terrible day at the office. Apart from Pollard and Chahar, all the bowlers used were smashed all over the park. Pollard got 2 in his 2 overs but Mumbai failed to finish things off well with the likes of Boult, Bumrah and Dhawal taken to the cleaners. Bumrah gave away 56 in his 4 overs, the highest in his Indian T20 League career. However, their batters, led by Pollard, scaled down the mountain.
MS Dhoni, the Chennai skipper, starts by saying that it was a brilliant wicket. Tells that they knew it is going to be a close game unless Mumbai lose a few quick wickets.
