| To be honest, Bangladesh just werenât at their best with the ball. They were way too wide outside off and did not make the most of the new ball. Whenever they hit the right areas, they did manage to cause problems but they werenât consistent enough. Also, they were a tad unlucky too but overall, Haque will be disappointed with the effort of the bowlers. |

There were a couple of nervous moments for Latham who was given out twice but the decisions were reversed but overall, the two have batted brilliantly. The skipper, Tom Latham continued his dominance from the morning session and got his century in style. Will Young was also looking good as he got his fifty but then one false shot saw him walk back to the pavilion. Devon Conway joined his skipper into the middle and he is looking in good touch so far. |
| Bangladesh were poor with the ball, their fielding also was way below-par. Too many overthrows and lack of consistency have allowed New Zealand to dominate the session. To add to that, they were quite unlucky too and not a lot has gone their way. They need wickets quickly after the break or there will be possibility of them being batted out of the match.
