2.2 : 2.2: Khaleel Ahmed to Mayank Agarwal, FOUR! Slashed away! Short and wide outside off, easy pickings for Agarwal. Hecuts it over point and bags the boundary.
3.1 : 3.1: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to KL Rahul, OUT! TAKEN! Bhuvneshwar strikes! Dangerous KL Rahul has been sent packing early in this game. He wanted to take the bowlers on but perishes. A length ball, it is just outside off, Rahul looks to hammer it down the leg side. He fails to hit it off the middle of the bat and the ball goes uppishly towards the left of Jadhav at mid-wicket. There has been a lot of discussion about KLR's strike rate in this season of the tournament and maybe that played on his mind.
4.5 : 4.5: Siddarth Kaul to Chris Gayle, FOUR! There goes the Universe Boss! A good length ball, it is outside off, Gayle takes a step or two forward and thumps it over mid on for a boundary.
5.2 : 5.2: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Mayank Agarwal, EDGED AND FOUR! Unlucky for Bhuvi but Mayank is surely riding his luck this afternoon! Slower ball pitched on the surface outside off. Mayank goes hard at it as he looks to slap it through the off side. He gets a fat outside edge which goes between the keeper and short third man for a boundary.
6.6 : 6.6: Khaleel Ahmed to Mayank Agarwal, OUT! CAUGHT! Clean as a whistle! Rashid dropped Mayank in the very first over for duck but this time he has taken a very good catch to send back the Punjab opener. Khaleel bangs it shorter but takes the pace off the ball. Mayank looks to pull but the lack of pace sees him hit his pull uppishly towards short mid-wicket. The ball falls on its way to Rashid Khan there. He dives and takes a good low catch. Mayanl waits for the umpire's call. No soft signal but
6.4 : 6.4: Khaleel Ahmed to Chris Gayle, FOUR! Too straight on the leg side. You never bowl there especially not to Gayle. The Universe Boss stays steady and works it fine down the leg side for a boundary.
7.3 : 7.3: Vijay Shankar to Deepak Hooda, IN THE AIR AND JUST OVER! FOUR! Shortish ball on the body. It sits up well for Hooda as it is at waist height. Hooda hooks it over fine leg. Kaul there is standing well in front of the ropes.  He jumps and stretches his right hand but it goes over him and bounces just inside the ropes.
7.1 : 7.1: Vijay Shankar to Chris Gayle, OUT! RUN OUT! Fantastic piece of work from Warner. He had one stump to aim at and he has hit the bull's eye. Pooran departs for a duck for the third time this season. His horrible season continues. To make matters worse for him, this time it is a diamond duck. Length ball on off, Gayle taps it to the right of short cover and calls for a quick run. Warner gets to the ball quickly and fires a direct hit from there. Pooran is well short of his crease but the squ
8.4 : 8.4: Rashid Khan to Chris Gayle, OUT! LBW! Rashid strikes in his very first over and it is the big Jamaican, it is the Universe Boss, Chris Gayle! 5th time Rashid has got the better of Gayle and Punjab are in all sorts of trouble here. Floated delivery which is fuller. Gayle leans forward to defend. He misses it completely and the ball hits him on the front pad. A huge appeal follows and umpire Nitin Menon raises his finger. Gayle has a chat with Hooda but they both seem to think Gayle is a go
10.4: Rashid Khan to Deepak Hooda, FOUR! Smart from Hooda! Premeditated but nicely done. Flatter outside off, Hooda gets in a good position to play the reverse sweep. He plays it well and away from backward point for a boundary.
11.3 : 11.3: Abhishek Sharma to Deepak Hooda, OUT! LBW! Umpire's call on hitting the wickets. Hooda has to go. A touch unlucky maybe but he has to depart. A flatter ball, it lands on middle and spins in a touch. Hooda looks to pull but misses to get hit on the pad. An appeal and the finger is raised. Hooda has a word with his partner and then calls for the review. Time for the replays. Nothing on Ultra Edge. Ball Tracker now. Pitching in line, and clipping the wickets. So, umpire's call it is. Punjab l
13.2 : 13.2: Abhishek Sharma to Shahrukh Khan, SIX! BANG! There goes Mr. Shahrukh! He is known for hits like these and he hits one out of the park. Tossed up and on middle, Shahrukh gets down and slog sweeps it way back into the stand over deep square leg.
13.4 : 13.4: Abhishek Sharma to Moises Henriques, OUT! STUMPED! Lovely from Abhishek as he gets his 2nd and Punjab lose their sixth. Sharma tosses it up and around off, Moises sees the chance of going big. He puts the dancing shoes on and looks to go down the ground. But the ball lands, turns and beats the bat of Moises. Bairstow is alert as a hawk behind the sticks as he takes the bails off in a flash.
16.4: Khaleel Ahmed to Fabian Allen, OUT! CAUGHT! Fabian Allen departs as well. Khaleel gets his second of the day. No timing whatsoever and it was always going to be tough for Allen to make an impact with the bat n this tricky surface. Superb catch from Warner. The Hyderabad skipper is pumped up today like always. Good length delivery around off, Fabian Allen looks to flat bat it over mid off. He gets no timing on it. It goes flat to the right of mid off. Warner there puts on his cape, turns
17.4: Siddarth Kaul to Murugan Ashwin, EDGED AND FOUR! Good effort from Kedar Jadhav but to no avail! Good length ball wide outside off. Murugan looks to cut but the ball takes the outside edge and goes fine towards third man. Kedar Jadhav runs to his left, puts in a dive, but is unable to pull the ball back in play.
18.1 : 18.1: Khaleel Ahmed to Shahrukh Khan, OUT! CAUGHT! Shahrukh Khan departs as well and with that Punjab's hopes of a dashing finish as well. Khaleel gets his third of the game and Abhishek Sharma's wonderful game continues. Khaleel rolls his finger on this one and bowls it outside off. Shahrukh pulls it but does not time it well. He finds deep mid-wicket to perfection. Abhishek Sharma does not have to move an inch and he takes the catch easily.
14.4 : 14.4: Siddarth Kaul to Shahrukh Khan, SIX! Shahrukh will not miss out. Massive hit. This bloke can swing the blade for sure. A slower ball, it is on a length and outside off, Shahrukh uses his reach and slogs it deep into the stand over mid-wicket.
19.1 : 19.1: Siddarth Kaul to Murugan Ashwin, OUT! EDGED AND taken! Kaul joins the party as well. He has had a tougher outing than his teammates with the ball but he has got the wicket and has something to smile as well. Full and wide outside off. Away from Ashwin's swinging arc. Ashwin still swings but gets a thick outside edge. Bairstow jumps and takes the catch.
19.4 : 19.4: Siddarth Kaul to Mohammed Shami, OUT! RUN OUT! Good piece of work from Jonny Bairstow. He almost made a mess of it but has done well in the end. Fullish ball outside off, Shami plays it behind point. He runs the first one hard and makes a late call for the second. Vijay Shankar gets the ball quickly and sends a good throw at the keeper's end. Bairstow disturbs the stumps with his leg initially but collects the ball in front of the stumps and disturbs the stumps. PUNJAB ALL OUT FOR 120!
0.3 : 0.3: Mohammed Shami to David Warner, FOUR! Slashed away! Wide outside off from Shami. Warner reaches out and flays it over backward point for a boundary.
1.6 : 1.6: Fabian Allen to Jonny Bairstow, SIX! Take that! Lovely finish to the over! Bairstow is in that kind of a form. Tossed up and around middle, he comes down the track and powers it over long on for a biggie. Clean hitting.
1.1 : 1.1: Fabian Allen to Jonny Bairstow, FOUR! Boundary for Bairstow! Short and wide outside off, not the line you want to bowl to Bairstow. Jonny gets the chance to free his arms and thumps it over the off side for a boundary.
2.3 : 2.3: Mohammed Shami to Jonny Bairstow, FOUR! Easy-peasy for Bairstow! Low full toss on middle. Bairstow just glances it through mid-wicket in fornt of square on the leg for a boundary.
2.6 : 2.6: Mohammed Shami to David Warner, FOUR! Brilliantly played! Length ball wide outside off, Warner cuts it through backward point. The fielder in the deep gives it a chase but to no avail. Runs flowing like water here and when you're defending 120 that cannot happen.
4.3 : 4.3: Moises Henriques to Jonny Bairstow, SIX! SHOT! Lovely pull from Bairstow. A short ball, outside off, at Moises' pace, it sits up nicely for Bairstow who swivels and nails it over deep square leg for half a dozen.
5.1 : 5.1: Arshdeep Singh to David Warner, FOUR! Lovely way to begin the over. Fullish length, it is around off, Warner gets down and sweeps it over backward square leg for a boundary. That's how you play against the spinner but Warner is Warner.
9.3 : 9.3: Deepak Hooda to David Warner, SIX! Going, going, and gone! Flighted delivery on off, Warner puts on his dancing shoes and lifts it over wide long off. He does not get to the pitch of the ball but gets enough on it to send it over the ropes.
10.1 : 10.1: Fabian Allen to David Warner, OUT! TAKEN IN THE DEEP! Good running catch from Agarwal. Warner cannot take the team over the line. A short ball, Warner would put this one away 9 times out of 10 but he mistimes it badly. The ball goes in the ait towards deep mid-wicket. It is on right side of Agarwal and it might land safely as well but Agarwal sprints to that side and covers a lot of ground and holds on to the catch. Allen celebrates with his dancing move. Fine knock from the skipper ends.
17.1: Deepak Hooda to Jonny Bairstow, FOUR! FIFTY FOR BAIRSTOW! This has been a very good knock from Bairstow. One of his slowest fifties but he has surely decided to do the job himself. A much-needed boundary too as this will calm a lot of nerves. Short on middle, Bairstow goes on his back foot and swats it over square leg for a boundary.
18.2 : 18.2: Arshdeep Singh to Jonny Bairstow, SIX! Take that! Arshdepp goes full and in the slot with the pace on. Bairstow smokes it over the cow corner region for a biggie.Â
