| Agreed, it is just the first match but once the new balls got older, the Proteas simply struggled to keep the Indians quiet. Singles were conceded easily and it was not till the 30th over when Rahane and Kohli actually decided to try and finish the game by the 40th over that the visitors pressed on the charge button.
