| A comfortable win for the Windies! An absolute morale boosting one for them. After Shai Hope's ton and handy innings from Lewis and Russell, they posted a massive 422. In reply, New Zealand needed a powerful start but they did not get it. They lost three even before they got to 50. Williamson and Blundell then steadied the ship. | The Windies bowling was very good to begin with. Till the time the ball was new, Cottrell, Thomas and Holder, all did a good job. However, once the ball got soft, their bowlers did take a pounding.
