The 14th property exhibition by the Builders’ Association of Navi Mumbai (BANM) promises to be a grand affair, and it will be a double treat for visitors as the association has tied up with Kokan Bhumi Pratisthan. The latter will be organising the Global Konkan Festival at the same venue.
The expo will be held at the sprawling ground at plot no1 at sector 19, off Palm Beach Road in Sanpada, from December 14-17. Addressing mediapersons, Devang Trivedi, president, Credai-BANM board of management, said, “This year, we have tied up with Kokan Bhumi Pratisthan, and those visiting the property exhibition will be able to catch a glimpse of the rich culture of Kokan.’
He added, “Over 130 members will be taking part in the exhibition, which will have more than 185 stalls showcasing properties from Navi Mumbai right up to Khopoli and Karjat. Top financial institutions will be present during the event as well.”
Trivedi said, “The area of the flats on offer will range from 300 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft, and the price starts from Rs12 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs2 crore. The exhibition is a great opportunity for those who wish to get information on all properties under one roof. There are also exciting offers at the exhibition and finance too will be easily available.”
Dharmendra Karia, secretary, of Credai-BANM, said, “Navi Mumbai is easily the most sought after destination for property investments in India. This is the right time to buy property in Navi Mumbai.
Since available land isn’t aplenty, prices will go up sharply owing to the high demand.” Karia added, “L&T and Satish Magar group will be participating in Navi Mumbai expo for the first time.”
Sanjay Yadavrao, president of Kokan Bhumi Pratisthan, said, “Navi Mumbai is the gateway to Konkan. The city is going to emerge as an important destination in the region. Our pratisthan has been giving a platform to artisans and small businessman from Konkan to exhibit their products.
Earlier, fests were held in Mumbai and this is the first time we are coming to Navi Mumbai. We are confident that the event will be a big success.”
NCP chief Sharad Pawar and chief minister Prithviraj Chavan are expected to be present for the inaugural ceremony on December 14.
