DNA Rain Check: Mumbaikars wake up to highest high tide of season, IMD predicts heavy rains

Mumbaikars woke up to a wet Sunday as the day saw intermittent rainfall as well as the seaons's highest high tide of 4.97 metre erupting in the Arabian Sea off Mumbai coast in the noon. The city is likely to witness heavy rains on Monday as well as Tuesday.

Simultaneously, an off shore trough is running along Maharashtra Coast to Kerala Coast and in wake of these systems heavy to very heavy rainfall will continue along Maharashtra coast including Mumbai.
