Supreme Court orders Aditya Pancholi and family to vacate the Mumbai bungalow

Supreme Court has ordered actor Aditya Pancholi to vacate his Mumbai bungalow by the end of the year, reports NDTV. "You are a big man. You can buy a flat. Your conduct is not acceptable," said the apex court.

The Pancholis have rented the bungalow near ISKCON temple in Juhu since 1960 for Rs 150 a month. The suit was filed by Tarabai Hate, owner of the bungalow, in July 1977 under the Bombay Rents, Hotel, Lodging House Rates Control Act, 1947 upon Pancholi's failure to pay three months rent.

Last month the Bombay High Court ruled against Pancholi and ordered them to move out and pay the arrears to the landlady. In the battle of over three decades, the court found that Pancholi did not deposit the money or pay the landlord in other means.

On Friday, Supreme Court upheld the decision.
