However, since then Cena has not made a single appearance in the WWE with fresh rumours now suggesting that The Champ is about to call it time.
Time and time again reports have suggested that the WWE World Champion will be retireing but is it really time to say goodbye to one of the most iconic personalities in the WWE universe?
The entire fiasco started when WWE on FOX posted a cryptic tweet on John Cena's retirement which sent fans into a complete meltdown.
