WWE SmackDown Live after WrestleMania: The New Day celebrate, Paige returns and new Tag Team champions crowned

Xavier Woods and Big E celebrated Kingston's title victory by talking up how important it was to see their hero and friend as WWE champion. Kingston's family was at the ringside.

However, they were interrupted by The Bar- Sheamus and Cesaro - and Drew McIntyre. A six-man tag match was set for the main event.

'The fight, the light and the night' as Ali called their team later took on Rusev, Shinsuke Nakamura and Andrade. Randy Orton spoiled the win for Ali with an RKO. Rusev stood over the former 205 Live Superstar and taunted him until Kevin Owens hit The Bulgarian Brute with a stunner.

R-Truth and Carmella celebrated the latter's Battle Royal victory at WrestleMania before Samoa Joe stormed into the ring and put Truth to sleep with a Coquina Clutch. This brought out Braun Strowman but Joe escaped the wrath of The Monster Among Men.

The IIconics defended their new tag team titles against local competitors The Brooklyn Belles. Former SmackDown Live GM Paige was shown watching backstage and later made clear she was bringing a new tag team to WWE.

It was a surprise as The Hardy Boyz defeated The Usos for the titles. Jeff Hardy ducked the Double Uce and set up a Twist of Fate from Matt Hardy and then himself delivered a Swanton Bomb for the finish. 

As Matt and Jeff looked to celebrate their victory, Lars Sullivan arrived and laid out both men.

A day after being attacked by Lacey Evans, Becky Lynch came out focused and said she needed to keep her eyes open all the time. However, as she headed to the back, Evans turned up and caught her with a sucker punch. 

Drew McIntyre looked dangerous but Kofi Kingston was the star of the fight as he hit Shameus with Trouble in Paradise to take the win. Kingston then celebrated with his whole family in the ring.
