Acer announces mid-range Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus for Rs 19,000

Acer today announced a few new Android devices at IFA; the Icona Talk S phablet and the Liquid Z6 & Liquid Z6 Plus smartphones.

The Acer Iconia Talk S (A1-734) is designed with business professionals and frequent travellers in mind. The phablet sports a 7-inch HD (1280x720) display with a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front cam. It packs a MT8735 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16/32GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). The phablet runs on Android 6.0 with a 3400mAh battery and has dual SIM and 4G support.The Iconia Talk S will be available in the EMEA for approximately Rs 12,700.

The Liquid Z6 series features an elegant 2.5D curved glass design with a metal back casing for the higher end version. Both Liquid Z6 smartphones run on Android 6.0.

The Liquid Z6 features a 5-inch full HD (1920x1080) with a 8MP/2MP camera combo. It has a 1.2GHz quad-core MT6737 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It packs 8GB internal storage (expandable) and runs on a 2000mAh battery. The Liquid Z6 will be available November for approximately Rs 8,700.

The Liquid Z6 Plus meanwhile features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080) display with a 13MP/5MP camera combination. It packs a 1.3GHz quad-core MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has 32GB internal storage (expandable), an integrated fingerprint scanner, and runs on a 4080mAh battery. The Liquid Z6 Plus will be available in December for approximately Rs 18,700.
