Indian Idol has been in talks since a while among celebrities for various reasons, including Neha Kakkar
Indian Idol 11, which commenced recently, has been in news due to judge Neha Kakkar. Even recently, a video of a fan kissing her forcibly went viral on the internet, creating fury among every viewer who saw the fan's act. The show is being co-judged by Vishal Dadlani and Anu Malik, while Aditya Narayan is the host of the show.
Vishal Dadlani posts something about Indian Idol from time-to-time. The singer-music composer had also shared some proud tweets. These tweets involved businessman Anand Mahindra and God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar praising some contestants.
More so, Neha Kakkar also happened to offer one contestant named Diwas Rs. one lakh only to go home and celebrate Diwali. The show has been in news for various other reasons too.
See what they are, here:
1. Anand Mahindra's dry-eye challenge
Challenging if people can remain dry-eyed after watching the video, Anand Mahindra shared a video clip revealing the story of Bhatinda, Punjab, based Sunny who earned money by polishing shoes. Not trained in music, his mother sold balloons to keep the family running after his father's passing away. He had sung Afreen Afreen.
Diwali is the perfect day to learn about people who Rise. A friend sent me this saying he was in tears watching it. Find the whole clip on YouTube & I challenge you to remain dry-eyed. Rahul, Chelsi, Diwas and Sunny come from different parts of the country but have the same passion & dedication for music despite all odds.

3. Neha Kakkar's gift of Rs 1 lakh
Neha Kakkar sent a gift for Diwas. Impressed by his singing and hearing that he, hailing from Jharkhand, could not go home for six years to celebrate Diwali, Neha surprised him by offering Rs. 1 lakhs to Diwas. She stated that he should go home and celebrate Diwali with the money. Diwas used to work in a factory and Diwali for him meant hearing firecrackers outside the factory during this time.
4. Sujoy Ghosh
Judge Vishal Dadlani stated that Sujoy Ghosh wanted to be a wild card entrant on the show.
