Rajpal Yadav to Kiku Sharda: Five actors who rejected Jethalal's role in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’

Kiku Sharda is best known for his portrayal of roles of Baccha Yadav and Palak in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. As per several media reports, Kiku was offered the role of Jethalal but he refused as he didn’t want to commit to a full-fledged serial.

Popular TV actor Ali Asgar who is fondly known as dadi for his character in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was also offered Jethalal’s role. Ali, who has worked in serials such as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kutumb, Comedy Circus refused the role due to prior work commitments.

Rajpal Yadav is considered to be one the best comedians in Bollywood with his amazing comic timing and classic punches. He has featured in movies such as ‘Hungama’, ‘Phire Hera Pheri’ and ‘Chup Chup Ke’. The actor was offered Jethalal’s role but he refused as he wanted to focus on his Bollywood career and not venture into TV.

Yogesh Tripathi, best known for his role of Daroga Happu Singh in ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!’ was offered the role of Jethalal but he refused to due to prior professional commitments.
