In the video that has gone viral, a bride can be seen with some rice in her hands for vidaai ceremony. She was so excited and happy that she tosses the rice high in the air. After this, the bride starts laughing out loud. The people standing there started laughing after seeing the bride’s excitement. Vidaai is a ceremony, where you can see a newlywed bride throws a handful of rice over her head in order to say a final goodbye to her family. Among Hindus, daughters are considered as Goddess Laxmi in the house. Her being in the house is a sign of wealth and prosperity. This is why when a daughter gets married and leaves her parents’ house, she throws back rice as a symbol of reassurance to them.
