Elon Musk’s satellite network, Starlink, is making headlines again. This time, it’s because over 1,000 aircraft now have access to high-speed internet thanks to Starlink. This new development is seen as a major achievement. With this technology, passengers on these aircraft can look forward to enjoying fast internet during their flights. Last month, SpaceX launched a new product called Starlink Mini. This device is small enough to fit in a backpack, making it easy to carry around and use for super-fast internet on the go.

Starlink Mini eliminates the need to depend on mobile networks. You can quickly connect your devices to high-speed internet anywhere. Michael Nicol, Vice President of Starlink Engineering at SpaceX, shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that production of Starlink Mini, integrated with Wi-Fi, will start soon.

Cost and Features of Starlink Mini

The Starlink Mini kit is priced at $599, which is around Rs 50,000. Currently, only existing Starlink customers can purchase it, and no separate plans have been announced yet.

Starlink Mini is portable, weighing just 1.13 kilograms. It offers speeds of 100 Mbps with a latency of 23 milliseconds, providing a reliable and fast internet connection.
