Generally, the shoes are taken away from the groom when he is not looking or his concentration is somewhere else so that he doesn't know who took them and where did they hide them. In the video, the groom is seen sitting with his bride on a sofa on stage surrounded by their family and friends and the sister-in-law and also the brother-in-law try taking his shoes.
