Many of us love long drives and travelling. But we usually take train and flight for trips to other states. One has to take a flight to visit other countries. But a car enthusiast from Canada has done an unbelievable thing by driving his SUV for 19000 km from Canada to India. It took him around 40 days to reach India. His name is Jasmeet Singh Sahni.

Last year in December, Jasmeet reached India from Canada driving his Ford Bronco SUV. He covered 18 countries before reaching his final destination. During his journey, he also had to sleep in his SUV. He spent over Rs 25 lakh for the journey which he planned in 2.5 years. He then became the talk of the town due to his mode of travelling.

Jasmeet started his journey from Toronto and drove 2200 km to reach Halifax. He then had to take a ship to cross the Atlantic Ocean to reach the UK. He also took a ferry from the UK to France in Europe. Subsequently, he covered most of the distance with his car.

He entered India via Pakistan. His family members welcomed him at the Attari Bagha Border near Amritsar in Punjab. Jasmeet is a car lover who is a fan of US cars. His SUV Ford Bronco, is one of the most popular off-roaders in the US and Canada. DNA India also took his interview last year, in which Jasmeet talked about his incredible journey. Check out below:
