Mumbai: Man stood in queue for 17 hours to secure first iPhone 15, internet reacts

 The anticipation among Apple enthusiasts in India reached a fever pitch today as the iPhone 15 series officially went on sale in the country. The two Apple stores, situated in Mumbai and Delhi, witnessed an unprecedented surge of eager customers as they eagerly awaited the chance to get their hands on the latest Apple innovations.

One dedicated individual, who had been waiting in line since the previous day, expressed his excitement at being the first to enter the store and purchase the all-new iPhone 15. Hailing from Ahmedabad, he embarked on a special journey to Mumbai, aiming to secure the very first iPhone from India's inaugural Apple store in BKC Mumbai. He recounted, "I have been here since yesterday 3 pm. I have stood in line for 17 hours,” the man told ANI. “I’m here to buy the first iPhone from India’s first Apple store." He further disclosed that he had reserved the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the striking white titanium finish, selecting the 256 GB model, and also opted for the latest Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the new AirPods. When asked about his opinion of Apple as a brand, he wore a broad smile and simply stated, "It's the best."

Another enthusiastic customer named Vivek shared his journey, revealing that he had arrived at the Apple BKC store at 4 am with the hope of being the first to obtain his new iPhone 15 Pro. However, he found himself narrowly edged out by another customer already in the queue. Nevertheless, he expressed his excitement, saying, "But I'm delighted to be getting my new iPhone 15 Pro. I've been eagerly anticipating this moment all year."

Meanwhile, in the capital city of Delhi, a customer named Rahul made history by becoming the first individual to purchase an iPhone 15 from the company's Saket store. He recounted his experience, stating, "It was an incredible experience. I joined the queue at 4 am and finally acquired the phone. I've always owned top-of-the-line phones, including an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPhone 14 Pro Max. With the unveiling of the 15 series, I was determined to get the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I achieved that goal ahead of everyone else."

The Apple iPhone 15 series had been available for pre-order in India since September 15, intensifying the anticipation among Apple aficionados in the country.
