Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant celebrated their Shubh Aashirwad ceremony today, following their grand traditional wedding on July 12 at Jio World Center in Mumbai. Radhika, now Mrs. Radhika Ambani, captivated everyone with her stunning look.

Radhika's outfit for the ceremony was a masterpiece created by the collaboration of designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and contemporary Indian artist Jayasri Burman. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, the lehenga is not just a garment but a piece of art, featuring 12 hand-painted panels on special Italian canvas by Jayasri Burman. Known for her mythical themes, Jayasri's artwork depicted celestial human figures symbolizing divine love and humanity, and elephants representing Anant's love for animals and auspiciousness.

Take a look:

The lehenga showcased meticulous craftsmanship with real gold Zardozi embroidery and a glittering sea of sequins enhancing Jayasri's intricate art. The blouse, hand-embroidered in Resham by master craftsmen at Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, added a delicate contrast, perfectly balancing the grandeur of the lehenga.

Jayasri Burman praised the designers, saying, "Abu Sandeep are artists. The only difference is their medium is couture while mine is canvas. They gave me total creative freedom, allowing my brush to dance all over the canvas. My hope is that it inspires a smile on Radhika's face and maybe someday, we'll even see it hanging on her wall!"

This collaboration highlights the mutual respect between artists of different mediums, resulting in a lehenga that is not just a wedding outfit but a symbol of the couple's journey and shared love for art and culture. The design thoughtfully reflects their personalities and union, making the lehenga a wearable story.
