7 symptoms that appear before kidney failure

Pravrajya Suruchi

Kidney failure, also known as end-stage renal disease (ESRD), is a serious condition where the kidneys can no longer function well.

Here are 7 symptoms that might show up as your kidneys struggle:

Changes in Urination: This can include urinating more often, especially at night, or less frequently.

Fatigue and Weakness: As your kidneys become less efficient at filtering waste, these toxins can build up in the blood, leading to fatigue.

High Blood Pressure: Kidneys play a role in regulating blood pressure. When they're not functioning properly, blood pressure can rise.

Loss of Appetite and Nausea:  Decreased kidney function can affect hormone production and lead to nausea and vomiting.

Skin Problems:  Dry, itchy skin can be a sign of kidney problems, as waste products that should be eliminated build up in the body.

Trouble Sleeping:  Anemia, which can be caused by kidney problems, can disrupt sleep patterns and make it hard to get a good night's rest.

Swelling:  Fluid retention is a common problem when kidneys aren't working correctly.
